ABOUT VIPER SURFING FINS
It was in 1978 when Fred Simpson designed the first Viper Fins prototype out of lightweight balsa wood. By 1982, production was in full swing and Viper Surfing Fins eventually became synonymous with the infamous Wedge surf break in Southern California. Largely unchanged since their inception – aside from some splotches of yellow and orange paint – Viper fins would go on to revolutionize the sport of body surfing and earn a cult following by some of the most fearless and talented bodysurfers and bodyboarders in the world.
