FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
When will my order ship?
Most items are available to ship within 1-2 business days. In order to offer the extensive line we carry, some items may be special ordered and shipped directly from the supplier. These items may take up to 7 days to ship but this is noted on applicable products. Pre-order products will ship once available based on their noted date. Learn more about shipping by visiting our shipping information page.
Do we ship Internationally?
We're proud to offer international shipping. Remember, shipments outside of the U.S. may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient. Since duties and taxes vary by country and by what was ordered, we are not able to supply an estimated cost. Please contact your customs office for more information. Due to International agreements, we are not able to sell NMD or VS brands to certain countries. Please email us at info@662bodyboardshop.com to see if your country is included in this list.

Can I return an opened, plugged or custom made board?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept a return on an item that is no longer in brand new condition or re-sellable. Once the cellophane packaging is removed or a plug hole is drilled it is considered used. Custom boards also cannot be returned. This item is made especially for you using your chosen specifications. Please be sure you are 100% stoked on your board before opening it.
Can I return used fins or fin accessories if they don't work out?
Sorry, Once worn we cannot re-sell them. I'm sure you wouldn't want to receive a pair of fins that someone else has worn, even if it was only one time. Please be aware we have ways of knowing if the fins have been used. Do not clean them well and send them back. They WILL be refused and sent back.
Can I get sponsored by 662?
We get this question a lot. We do occasionally sponsor new team riders. For consideration please send us a short bio about yourself, contests you've entered (if any), current images, videos, and links to your social media to info@662bodyboardshop.com. If we are interested we will contact you.
Is it a Bodyboard or a Boogie board?
Both terms are technically correct. Boogie board is a trademarked term used by Morey Boogie and is typically used to describe cheaper lower priced boards. Bodyboard is the most commonly used term in the industry. Fair warning, you may come across a rider that takes offense to you calling their board a “Boogie Board”. Here at 662 Bodyboard Shop, we welcome all terms. You say what you feel comfortable saying.
Is the product availability guaranteed?
We do our best to keep our website inventory as accurate as possible. However, in some instances, we sell through items quickly and are not able to remove them from our site before it is ordered again. If this happens, we will always contact you regarding possible substitutions or free upgrades. Be sure to check your emails to ensure you get any such notifications to avoid order delays.
Will the heat ruin my board?
Heat is bad. Quality bodyboards are built with heat-not glue. Therefore, heat is the ultimate enemy. Keep your boards out of the direct sunlight. Cover it with a towel (deck down) when resting on the beach. Do not leave it in a hot car, or a pickup truck bed. Heat causes the core foam to emit a gas. That gas will search the surface of the board for the weakest spot and raise a bubble on your deck or bottom skin. Heat bubbles are not covered by any warranty as a defect.
Do Bodyboards absorb water?
Due to nature of materials used in the construction of bodyboards, there will be some water absorption, which is normal and not a defect. This water typically drains after each use.
Is Creasing a Covered Manufacturer defect?
Bodyboards are constructed of various types of foam and due to the natural force and nature of waves they are not indestructible. While creases are not pretty to look at, they do not change the performance of the board. Creasing is NOT covered by any manufacturer warranty.
